A very extensive rebuilding of an existing house. As such the footprint was fixed.

The design was informed by the context, the sun and views  The light roof with high windows facing the mountain and entrance allows views through the house to the harbour as you approach it from the street above, as well as views of the mountain and old cable car from within the house.

The very extensive decking on both floors allows inside-outside living on the very steep site.
